i've bit the bullet on deleting the Discord server and my account on discord over ethical concerns, and in retrospect, i've not had a will to maintain this modpack for months now. the game and its community are boring and obnoxious, modrinth is a barely-ethical corporate clusterfuck in and of itself now, and there's little fun to be had in the minecraft optimization scene anymore now it seems.

thus, this little vent is the official announcement i'm done with Simply Optimized. i'm biting the bullet on this too. over these almost-three-years, i've grown way, way out of it. thank you, sorry i guess, and goodbye.

remember: trans rights! free palestine! all cops are bastards! copying is not theft, and piracy is as ethical as it gets! live your life so that the fash get ten aneurysms a second just looking at ya.
